Vault Room Museum

The 1926 Vault Room Museum

The Flagler County Historical Society recently opened a brand-new museum, located in the Historic 1926 Flagler County Courthouse at 200 E. Moody Blvd. The museum is housed in the vault room which was originally where the county kept records from 1926 to 2007. It now contains 10 original courthouse benches with seating for 50 people, and features exhibits on women’s voting rights and early Bunnell history. Video interviews of community members are also available for visitors to view on-site.

The museum debuted publicly at the 2nd Annual Bunnell History Day on April 11, 2026, and was busy throughout the day. Historical Society President Ed Siarkowicz noted that everybody seemed excited about the new museum and the content of the exhibits.

Florida Women’s Voting Rights Exhibit

The Florida Women’s Voting Rights exhibit is a joint project of AAUW Flagler (American Association of University Women) and the Flagler County Historical Society. This exhibit is currently part of the Holden House and Sisco Deen Research Library campus, open during regular society hours and featured during special events.

Our museums are part of Bunnell’s growing “History Corridor” on E. Moody Blvd. Contact us if you would like directions, tours, or more detail on the Vault Room Museum.
