The Flagler County Historical Society will award a scholarship to a Flagler County student who is studying History. The $2,000 scholarship has been named the Sisco Deen Scholarship to honor the late Flagler County historian. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, a resident of Flagler County, qualify for acceptance to a college or be currently enrolled in a college. Printed applications are now available at the Flagler Palm Coast and Matanzas High schools’ guidance departments, the Flagler County Library in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beach Library in Flagler Beach.
The application deadline is May 15, 2024.
