Diane Marquis takes us on a tour of “The Little Red School House” an authentic turn of the century schoolhouse and museum located in Bunnell Florida. Once Flagler had many one room schoolhouses.
Located within the campus of Bunnell Elementary School is The Little Red School House. This is a museum that captures the look and components of the single room schoolhouses that once served Flagler County. An appointment is required to visit this museum which is within a fenced area of the school. Diane Marquis is a retired teacher and historian who walks us through the days of the early Flagler School System. Diane is an active member of the Flagler County Historical Society. See the wonderful memories that are contained in The Little Red School House Museum, a building constructed in 1938 as part of the Bunnell High School for the FFA (Future Farmers of America) students.
